T-Mobile G1 shown live in the wild
T-Mobile’s upcoming G1 phone has been spotted today. Someone with access to the phone, ahead of T-Mobile’s official debut next Tuesday, has shown off the device outdoors, under better light conditions than the blurry pictures than we’ve seen before. Previously only a handful of low quality shots were available. The phone has a touchscreen and opens like a Sidekick to expose a full keyboard.

It’s Official: September 23rd at 10:30AM in New York City
The first invitations for the T-Mobile Android launch in New York City have arrived. It takes place at 10:30AM Eastern US time, at a location close to the Queensboro Bridge (E 59th ST & 2nd Ave?) in New York. Hopefully we’ll see more than the black and white versions of the T-Mobile G1 that have circulated on the net for the past couple of weeks. There’s also rumoured to be a brown version.
First Android-powered HTC Dream to sell for $199
According to the Wall Street Journal, Google’s first Android-powered cell phone is coming soon and wil retail for $199. As expected, T-Mobile wlil be the first carrier to sell Google’s Android phone, and will show off the device to analysts and journalist next Tuesday in New York. The device will hit stores later this fall.

T-Mobile will sell HTC’s Android Phone in the UK
T-Mobile is planning to sell HTC’s Android phone as the first Google phone in the UK. Today, Google showed off the Android OS on a phone that looked suspiciously like the HTC Dream, but which had the branding removed. T-Mobile will be ahead of the competition in offering Android phones on the market.
