Google Android plans delayed, developers jumping ship to iPhone?
WSJ reports that Google has to slow down on Android. The original plan was to have Android phones on the market in the second half of 2008, but several carriers complain that they won’t have Android handsets ready for a roll-out in 2008.
Monolith Android [Game]
Monolith Android is a 3D Tetris like game for Android. The code is based on the SDK samples of the Android SDK. The intent of developer Tasos Kleisas was to create a fun to play game, and also to familiarize himself with the rich API of the Android platform.
Android will cause explosion of new phone makers
Hampus Jakobsson, co-founder of the Open Handset Alliance (OHA) predicts that the Android platform will shake up the mobile market and pave the way for new phone manufacturers to enter the marketplace.
Android running on a Nokia N95
Someone has apparently gotten Android running on a Nokia N95. It’s unclear whether this is natively installed, but it seems to work with Google Maps and you can make calls.

Google’s Senior Director of Mobile Platforms Andy Rubin demoed a non-touchscreen version of the Android OS to reporters. The operating system seems to perform well while running multiple other applications in the background.
