On May 6th HTC is holding a press event in London. Early speculation had HTC introducing their first Android-based device (the HTC Dream) during that event. But according to Engadget Mobile, the spotlight will be on the new HTC Diamond, a new Windows Mobile powered device with a large VGA touch screen, Wi-Fi and a 3 megapixel camera.
The ‘next wave of innovation’ featured in the invitation email is said to be a new version of TouchFLO, the touch screen software developed by HTC. The HTC Diamond could be a successor to the HTC Touch, a bestselling device that was introduced in June last year.
