A user of the AndroidCommunity forum has certified that the T-Mobile G1 runs on the Qualcomm 7201 dualcore processor. The first core is completely targeted at phone functions, while the second one helps to reduce load times for applications and avoid overload of the phone processor.
Both processors are clocked at the same frequency.
